Mr. Payne has been cremated under the direction of the Rupp Funeral Home. Virgil J. Albert 1930-2013 PATTONSBURG, Mo. Virgil Junior Albert of Pattonsburg, was born April 20, 1930, and passed on February 7, 2013.

He was preceded in death by his son, Virgil Douglas; and his parents, Mildred and William Albert. He is survived by his wife, Frances; children, Diana Gault (Michael), Woodland Park, Danny Joe Albert (Marsha) Lawson, Mo. and Darlis Wallace (Jeff) Bethany, 11 grandchildren; and 18 great- grandchildren. Darwin Eugene Burns, 73, of Agency, passed away Monday, February 11, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on January 12, 1940, to Leonard William and Mary Elizabeth (McColgin) Burns in Reydon, where he grew up and graduated from High School. Gene received his Degree from Oklahoma State University.

On August 3, 1963, he was united in marriage to Elenita Thimling. After their marriage they moved to St. Joseph and later moved to rural Agency where they made their home. Gene was a hog buyer for Armour Co. and several other hog plants for 34 years.

He later worked for the State of Missouri as a petroleum inspector where he retired after 13 years. Gene loved being outdoors and working in his garden. He was a member of the Frazier Baptist Church. Gene was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Don Burns and Dan Burns. He is survived by his wife, Elenita of the home; children, Greg Burns and wife, Paula, Todd Burns and wife, Mary Jo and Kerri Perks and husband, Kent; grandchildren, Bryson and Genifer Burns, Cali and Cage Burns and Peyton, Kaden and Konnor Perks; sister, Kay Lovett and husband, Tom; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Celebration of Life: 10 a.m. Friday, February 15, at the Frazier Baptist Church. The body has been cremated and an Inurn- ment will be held at a later date at Frazier Cemetery. com Mary G. Gach 1919-2013 Mary Geraldine Gach, 93, St. Joseph, died Monday, February 11, 2013, at a local healthcare facility. She was born June 7, 1919, to Charles and Emma Karl in St. Joseph, where she had lived most of her life.

Geraldine married Bernard J. Gach on November 22, 1945. He preceded her in death on January 20, 1996. She was a former employee of the Sisters Hospital. Geraldine was a member of the Catholic faith and attended the former Immaculate Conception, St.

Joseph Cathedral, and Our Lady of Guadalupe. She is a past member of St. Altar Society, Ladies of Charity, LaVerna Guild, Immaculate Conception, Social Club, Assistant Sacrastian, The Catholic Order of Forrest- ers, and LeBlond Booster Club. Mrs. Gach was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and sister, Helen Hanway.

Survivors: sons, Charles Gach eld, Gregory Gach (Judy), Advance, N.C. and Michael Gach (Cheryl), Naperville, daughters, Mary Ann Evans (Rick), Chandler, Okla. and Barbara Reynolds (Barry), St. Joseph; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Irene (Newby) Gentzler, 88, passed away on February 11, 2013, in Columbia, surrounded by loved ones. Irene was born on November 29, 1924, in northeast DeKalb County, the youngest child of William Edgar Newby and Effie Nannie (Hulett) Newby.

She was reared in northeast DeKalb and southeast Gentry counties, with a short time of her childhood spent in Gotebo, Okla. Irene attended Hebron School in DeKalb County and graduated from Maysville High School. She attended LPN school for a short time in Kansas City before meeting and marrying Ben Andrew Gentzler on May 28, 1944. They spent their early married years traveling between army bases and finally settled in Maysville, where they reared their family. Ben and Irene remained in Maysville until 1997, when they moved to Columbia.

Irene accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Maysville, where she taught in the preschool department for many years. Her husband, Ben, preceded her in death on December 21, 1997. Irene was also preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Lewie Lee Newby, William Henry Leo Newby, Ella Inez Johnson, Ruby Janette Martin, Georgia Mae Rice, Jesse Thurman Newby and James Newton Newby. She is survived by Steve (son) and Lynn Gentzler of Columbia; Deborah Sue (daughter) and David Grace of Laramie, and Berea Gentzler Ni- gus (sister-in-law) of Hiawatha, Kan. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Ellen Grace Brinda, Sarah Grace Adams, Corissa Gentzler Ray, and Evan Gentzler; six great-grandchildren; and multiple nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She will be remembered with deepest love for her incessant wonder of our universe, for her willingness to have a great laugh even at her own expense, for being a great cook, for extending kindness to others, and for her love of her family. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, February 14, 2013, at Fairport Cemetery, Fairport. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. today, at Bram- Turner Funeral Home in Maysville.
