A woman in her 60s has died following a car crash during the early hours of Monday morning in Co Meath. The incident occurred at around 1am on Monday, June 10 at Main Street, Ratoath in Meath. The driver and sole occupant of the car, a woman in her 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her body has since been removed to the mortuary at Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan, with a post-mortem examination to happen in due course. Main Street Ratoath is currently closed following the collision, with local diversions in place. A technical examination of the scene will be conducted by Forensic Collision Investigators on Monday morning. Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward. Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the Main Street area of Ratoath between 12:45am and 1am on Monday June 10 are asked to contact Gardaí.
